The International College of Liberal Arts (iCLA) is a four-year, American style liberal arts college where the primary language of instruction is English.
Students can choose from a wide array of courses as part of an innovative curriculum which leads to a bachelor’s degree in International Liberal Arts.
Just 90 minutes west of Tokyo, iCLA combines a multicultural learning environment with a beautifully traditional Japanese setting in the shadow of Mt Fuji. iCLA offers students the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the very essence of Japanese culture, whilst acquiring a contemporary and globally relevant education at our state of the art facilities.
Why study at iCLA?
• A Liberal arts college is usually a close-knit community making it a home away from home, adding depth to the college experience.
• Comfortable and affordable on-campus accommodation is available to all students, both international and Japanese, resulting in plenty of opportunities for building global friendships.
• We offer close support for international students to adjust to life in Japan, as we understand that navigating a new culture and language can be daunting at times.
• At iCLA you can expand your world perspective through our Study Abroad Program. With partnerships with 70+ universities in over 30 countries, it's easy to find your best fit.
Student testimonials:"Student life at iCLA is great! The school is not that big so it's always nice to find friends around the school. You never feel alone, there is always a space or a friend for you. The campus also presents many opportunities for any creative student, from areas to study, to designated areas to play instruments or paint. iCLA’s scholarship is really easy to apply for, you just submit an extra essay as part of your application."
