Foxcroft Academy

Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, United States of America
250-500

Founded in 1823 on the principle that Knowledge is Power, Foxcroft Academy equips graduates with the life skills needed for success in college, career, and community by inspiring, engaging, and empowering students to become informed and active global citizens.
Boasting a population of nearly 425 students, when you enroll at Foxcroft Academy, you’re not just enrolling in a school; you’re joining a community filled with proud alums that have made names for themselves all over the world, thanks to their foundation built in our hallways.

Students at FA believe in giving back to the communities they come from, whether across the street or across the world. Varied experiences in community service teach and model giving to others and demonstrate the concept of community stewardship, ideas that are integral to fulfilling FA’s mission, and ideas that help our students think about more than just themselves.

Foxcroft is committed to preparing students to succeed in an increasingly tech-driven educational landscape by providing the latest in digital technology as well as tried and true learning styles.

FA was the first high school in the state of Maine to provide an iPad to every student (2012), and we continue to upgrade and enhance the learning experience with the tools students need to succeed, not just in the classroom but in life.

FA students can find their passion, whether it's in the classroom, participating in one of the dozens of school clubs and groups, playing on one of our over twenty athletics teams, or participating in performing or digital arts offerings.

If we don’t have what you want, ask us because we want to ensure our students are equipped for the world ahead of them.

Attending and graduating from Foxcroft Academy means you are an effective communicator, a self-directed and lifelong learner, a creative and practical problem solver, an integrative and informed thinker, and a responsible and involved citizen.

A Foxcroft Academy graduate is a well-rounded individual, ready to take on all life's challenges. Come see the difference.
